Victim in Critical Condition After Dorchester Stabbing

Thursday, August 26th at around 21:00 hours, officers from area B3 responded to the Franklin Field Projects on Westview in Dorchester for reports of a person stabbed. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious life threatening injures. Due to the victim’s condition, full notifications were made, with district detectives, homicide, crime scene, and command staff responding.

The scene, which appeared to be a party/barbecue, took about four hours to process. Numerous evidence markers could be seen throughout the area. The victim is alive at this time, and still in critical condition. Boston Police have not confirmed any arrests at this time, but sources tell us they have a suspect pending arrest. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information has been made available at this time.
