Dorchester Shooting Victim Refuses EMS Transport, Goes Back To Drinking With Friends

On Saturday, August 28 at 03:15 hours District B-2 officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 580 Dudley St. On arrival, Officers were directed by witnesses to the area of Leyland Street Park, where they located a man suffering from an apparent graze wound. They also discovered ballistic evidence.

Boston EMS was called in. They evaluated the victim, but he refused transport to the hospital. According to witnesses, he opted to continue drinking with his friends. Detectives processed the scene. No arrests have been made at this time, and no further information is available.
