On Sunday, September 5 at approximately 23:45 hours, District B-2 officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicated multiple rounds in the area of 42 Hollander Street, in the H-Blcok Section of Roxbury.
Officers found ballistic damage to a vehicle, with spent casings littering the road. A victim suffering from a gunshot wound was located away from the scene, and transported to hospital with serious injuries. According to witnesses, he appeared to be shot in the leg and shoulder. He is expected to survive.
District detectives were called in to process the scene and collect evidence. While detectives were on scene, a second gunshot victim self presented to the hospital with serious, but non-fatal injuries. There have been no arrests made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
