A patrol car from District B-2 on-sighted a woman who was unconscious, and not breathing, on Wednesday, September 8, at around 01:00 hours. She appeared to have a very serious head injury. Officers rendered aid until Boston EMS arrived on scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital. Detectives were requested to investigate what appeared to be a violent assault.
The woman was successfully revived at hospital. After reviewing area security camera footage, it now appears she had overdosed while walking, causing her to fall head first into the pavement. Evidence showed no one was responsible for her severe injuries.
