Heath Street Shots Fired Turns in to Foot Chase

On September 8th at around 21:00 hours, a unit from District E-13 on-sighted a shooting in the area of Heath Street. The shots were fired in the Bromley Heath Housing Development.

Three male subjects ran, starting a foot chase that lead in to District B-2 and the Mission Hill area. The District B-2 K-Car, Anti-Crime Unit, and Gang Unit eventually caught the males, but they had discarded the firearm and at least one of their black hoodies.

The males were FIO’ed and it is believed they were released due to the missing gun. District E-13 district detectives procsessed the scene and collected ballistic evidence on Horan Way. Two cars were hit by the gunfire.

No victims were located, and no further information has been released. They were unable to also confirm whether any arrests had been made.
