Pedestrian Struck Near Franklin Park Zoo Yesterday Evening

Late Saturday night, at approximately 21:10 hours, Boston Fire, Boston EMS, and Boston Police Officers from B-3 and B-2 responded to the area of Columbia Road and Blue Hill Ave, in Dorchester, for calls that someone had been struck by a vehicle. Firefighters arrived first on scene and were able to locate what turned out to be an adult victim who had been struck by an unknown vehicle.

Boston EMS quickly arrived and treated the victim for their injuries however they were less than cooperative. There is currently no official word on their condition however sources tell us they are considered to be minor. Boston Police took account of what happened and are actively investigating the vehicle involved in the incident. No further information has been released at this time.
