Early Friday morning, at approximately 01:45 hours, Boston Police Officers from District A-1 while in the area of China Town and the Theater District reported over the radio they had heard what sounded like gunshots in the area.
At the same time 911 calls began coming in for as many as 7-10 shots fired in the area of Lagrange Street, in front of Centerfolds and the Glass Slipper. Units responded to the area quickly and immediately located numerous spent shell casings as well as ballistic damage to a building.
Officers arrived on scene and didn’t locate any victims; however, witnesses were able to provide officers with a detailed description of the shooter as well as the numerous cameras that cover the downtown area.
District Detectives as well as the Crime Scene Response Unit were called in the process the scene as well as photograph and log ballistic evidence. Fortunately, Detectives were able to gather a well rounded suspect description from video surveillance, witness and cc-tv in the area, however no arrests have been made at this time.
