At approximately 12:30 hours today, Boston Police Officers from District A-7 responded along with Boston EMS to 7 Shelby Street in East Boston for reports of a person stabbed. On arrival, they located a male victim suffering from apparent stab wounds.
According to sources, EMTs on scene quickly assessed the man and found his injuries to be fatal and subsequently he was declared non-viable. Full notifications were made by police on scene with the Crime Scene Response Unit, Homicide Detectives, District Detectives, and Command Staff all responding.
SWAT personnel were called to the scene, in order to do a protective sweep of a nearby residence however no one was taken into custody.
No further information is currently available regarding wether any suspect is in custody or if anyone else was injured.
