Woman Stabs Taxi Driver in Forehead Before Fleeing Early Wednesday

Today, Wednesday January 12, 2022 at approximately 05:30 hours officers from District D14 began investigating after a cab driver arrived at the district station reporting he had been stabbed. The victim stated he was just stabbed inside of his taxi cab. According to the victim, a white woman identifying herself as Juanita entered the cab armed with a hammer and a butcher’s knife. The woman stabbed the driver in the forehead before fleeing.

The victim was transported by Boston EMS, and is expected to survive. Officers responded to the area of 28 Jette Court, where the incident took place, to search for the suspect. The search yielded no suspect. Detectives began processing the vehicle for evidence, and at least one of the weapons was retrieved from inside the taxi. No further information has been released at this time, as this investigation is ongoing.
