Crack Dealer Arrested With Gun Overnight in Roxbury

At about 6:41 PM, on Thursday, January 20, 2022, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) made an on-sight firearm arrest of Tiernan Walsh, 20, of Mattapan in the area of 310 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury (Shell Gas Station).

While on patrol, officers performed a CJIS query on a motor vehicle in which a BOLO “be on the lookout” was issued by the Massachusetts State Police on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 for “failure to stop for police”.

Officers conducted a traffic stop of the motor vehicle and arrested the driver, Tiernan Walsh for driving with a suspended license. During the arrest, officers recovered a loaded firearm.

The gun has been identified as a Taurus Millennium PT 145 Pro .45 from the suspects coat pocket along with twelve individual packages of a small white rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine and a digital scale. The firearm was loaded with one round in the chamber and six rounds in the magazine.

Tiernan Walsh was placed under arrest and charged with; Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, Drugs and Operation after Suspension/Revocation. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
