At about 3:40 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person with a gun in the area of 468 Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester. Upon arrival, officers observed and located the suspect, later identified as Ja’Juan Holliman-Wiggins, 21, of Roslindale. Holliman-Wiggins attempted to reach for his waistband, but officers immediately and safely recovered a loaded 9MM Glock 17 Generation 5 with fifteen rounds in the magazine from the suspect’s coat pocket.
