Boston Police Respond to Multiple Calls for Shots Fired Overnight

Shortly before 21:00 hours last night, January 25, Boston Police Officers from District C-11 responded to calls for shots fired as well as a ShotSpotter Activation on Dorchester Ave right out side of the Ashmont MBTA Station. Originally it was believed that a person was shot and EMS was also dispatched, however it was soon discovered that no victim was on scene.

A few hours later at 22:30 hours on January 25, Boston Police Officers from District B-3 responded to the area of Courtland Road and Greendale Road in Mattapan for a ShotSpotter activation and multiple 911 calls for 7+ rounds. Again no victim was located at the scene.

Finally at approximately 02:00 hours this morning, January 26, Boston Police Officers assigned to District B-3 and District C-11 responded to the area of Lithgow Street, near Washington Street and Talbot Ave for another ShotSpotter activation. Again no victim was located.

Multiple spent shell casings were found at all scenes and District Detectives came in to process the ballistic evidence. No arrests have been made at this time in any of these incidents and the investigations are considered ongoing.
