One of Two People Rescued From Kerwin Street Fire in Critical Condition

Last night, March 16, 2022 at approximately 20:45 hours the Boston Fire Department, along with Boston EMS and Boston Police, responded to 43 Kerwin Street for reports of a fire.

A male was rescued from an apartment effected by the blaze, and was said to be in critical condition suffering from life threatening injuries. Full notifications were made, though he is expected to survive. A second victim, a female, was also transported by Boston EMS for treatment of her injuries.

The fire was quickly knocked down, and companies cleared the scene.

No further information has been released regarding this ongoing investigation.
