Late night Friday, March 25, 2022, at approximately 23:30 hours, Boston Police responded along with Boston EMS to Monument Street in Charlestown for reports of a person shot.
The victim was quickly located, and appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound to the left chest. The victim, who has only been identified by Police as a juvenile, was rapid transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital, and the condition of the patient is unknown at this time.
Detectives arrived to the crime scene, and processed the evidence. This investigation remains active and ongoing.
