On Thursday March 24, 2022 at approximately 21:30 hours, officers from District B3 attempted to stop a sport utility vehicle in the area of 18 Edson Street in Dorchester.
While executing the motor vehicle stop, an officer in trouble – also known as an OT – was called as the driver of the vehicle nearly injured officers while attempting to flee the scene. The driver did not make it very far before crashing in to a parked vehicle, and absconding on foot.
After a short foot chase, and K9 deployment, the driver was apprehended. No information has been released regarding the suspects identity or the charges the suspect is facing relating to this incident.
