B-3 and C-11 Drug Control Units Execute Search Warrant and Arrest One on Drug and Firearm Related Offenses

On February 23, 2022, Officers from the C-11 and B-3 Drug Control Units executed a search warrant and as a result, police arrested Matthew Jones, 48, of Dorchester on drug-related offenses.

During executing the warrants, officers recovered the following items: 14 Grams of Crack Cocaine, $262 in United States Currency, and a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson MP, with seven (7) live rounds in the magazine

Matthew Jones was placed under arrest and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B ( Crack Cocaine), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition

Matthew Jones to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
