Officers in Dorchester Respond to Calls for Shots Fired Sunday

At approximately 19:00 hours on Sunday, March 27, 2022 officers from District C-11 responded to the area of 10 Mathers Street in Dorchester for a ShotSpotter activation. ShotSpotter indicated 7+ rounds had been discharged in the area. Multiple 911 calls were received indicating the same.

Ballistic evidence was located including multiple spent shell casings as well as ballistic damage to a vehicle. The scene was photographed and processed by District detectives. No arrests have been made and no further information is available at this time as the incident is still under investigation.
