Bowdoin Street Person Shot Call Leads to SWAT Activation and Multiple Subjects Detained

On Thursday March 31, 2022 at approximately 23:00 hours, officers from District C11 responded along with Boston EMS to the area of 34 Bowdoin Street for reports of a person shot.

The male victim was located suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper leg. Immediately officers jumped into action quickly apply a life saving tourniquet to the man’s wounded leg. Officers along with SWAT personnel then breach the residence and and completed a protective sweep.

Multiple individuals inside of the residence were handcuffed and detained on scene, though at this time there is no available information regarding their identities or the possibility of charges they maybe facing relating to this incident.

After the scene was secured, Boston EMS was able to safely transport the victim to an area hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive although this injuries are consider critical. The residence remains frozen pending a search warrant at this time.
