Magnolia Street Shooting Victim Expected to Recover

At approximately 23:50 hours on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, officers from District B2 responded to the area of 256 Magnolia Street for a six round ShotSpotter activation.

On arrival, officers observed ballistic evidence dispersed throughout the street. Detectives were called in to process the scene, and K9 units began the search for possible suspects.

A short time later, a black sedan dropped the apparent victim of the shooting at Boston Medical Center before fleeing. The victim self presented to the Emergency Room with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, and is expected to recover.

No further information regarding this incident are currently available. The circumstances regarding this shooting are actively being investigated.
