Gang War Rages on in Heath Street Projects, with 11 Rounds Fired and a Firearm Recovered Monday Afternoon

At approximately 19:00 hours Monday afternoon, May 2, 2022, Boston Police Officers from District E-13, B-2, Housing and Transit Police all responded responded to the area of Bromley Heath Projects for a ShotSpotter activation for at least eleven rounds.

When officers arrived on scene they did not locate any victims or damage however they did locate numerous spent shell casings strewn throughout the street. Additionally, a short foot pursuit did result in the recovery of a firearm, however the suspect escaped but not before being identified.

District E-13 Detectives were notified and they responded to the scene to process the ballistic evidence. At this time no arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing.

There has been an ongoing gang war between the gang that resides in the Heath Street projects, and another Mission Hill gang that is centered in the Annunciation Road Projects. From shooting to the theft of the “opps” grave stones, the tension between these two waring gangs is ramping up just in time for summer.
