On Thursday, May 5 2022, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded to 911 calls for a male in his underwear on the roof of a home on Ceylon Street and Quincy Street in Roxbury.
The 911 caller reported the male, who was wearing nothing besides his tighty-whities, was standing on the roof screaming obscenities and throwing objects into the street below. When officers arrived they found the man in an overly agitated state and immediately requested a mental health clinician to be dispatched to the scene.
After almost an hour long de-escalation the man retreated back into his home. At this time it is unclear if he will face any charges. He was left at his residence and no further 911 calls were made on him for the remainder of the night. The male was on parole at the time of the incident.
