Woman Stabbed Thursday on Columbia Road Expected to Survive

Early Thursday morning shortly after midnight, Boston EMS and Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded to the area of 392 Columbia Road in Dorchester for reports of a person stabbed.

On arrival EMTs and Officers located an adult female suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing. She was quickly transported by EMS to a local area hospital where she is expected to survive.

District B-2 Detectives were called to the scene however investigators found it difficult to pin down the exact location that the incident happened. At this time there have been no arrests and no further information is available.
