Last night, May 11 2022, Boston Police Officers responded to two different, unrelated, calls for people shot within 50 minutes of each other. One was at approximately 19:50 hours in District B-2 and the second was at approximately 20:39 hours in District C-11.
Parker Street Incident-
Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded at approximately 19:50 hours to a ShotSpotter activation for multiple rounds fired in the area of 663 Parker Street which is the Mission Main Projects in Roxbury. As Officers responded they were updated that a person may be shot and Boston EMS was added to the call. When first responded arrived on scene they located a victim suffering from apparent gun shot wounds.
EMS quickly stabilized the patient and transported them to a local area hospital. At this time, the victim is expected to survive. Detectives from the district responded and processed the scene. Multiple spent shell casings were marked as evidence and photographed before being collected by investigators. No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.

Nottingham Street Incident
Boston Police Officers at approximately 20:40 hours responded to a heart breaking call from a mother reporting that her son had shot himself at their home on Nottingham Street in Boston. Officers and Detectives from District C-11 along with Boston EMS responded to the scene where they located the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Boston EMS transported him to a local area hospital. At this time his condition is unknown and our thoughts remain with the family during this difficult time. No further will be provided.
