Wednesday, May 11 at around 19:15 hours, officers from area B-3 responded to the area of Livingstone Street and Blue Hill Ave in Mattapan for reports of a person stabbed. The victim, an adult male, was transported to a local area hospital with serious life threatening injures. Due to the victim’s condition, full notifications were made with district detectives, homicide, crime scene, and command staff responding.

The scene took about two hours to process. Numerous evidence markers could be seen throughout the area. The victim is alive at this time but still in critical condition. Boston Police have not confirmed any arrests, but sources tell us they have a suspect and an arrest is likely imminent. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information has been made available at this time.
