High Risk Transport of Hazardous Materials from MGH Successfully Completed Overnight

At approximately 21:00 hours Boston Police SWAT EOD and Mass State Police EOD, STOP and others began staging on Blossom Street near the MGH Campus. Their goal was to protect a container of radio active medical waste, that is considered to be highly dangerous, from inside one of the MGH Labs as it was transported to an undisclosed location.

These transports are not dangerous themselves, but have historically been a possible target of bad actors. Very little information is known, however sources close to the operation tell us this is a relatively normal and mundane mission. Our source confirmed this morning that the transfer was completed with out incident.
