Boston Firefighters responded to a car fire at approximately 9:00 pm Thursday on Westville Street in Dorchester. They quickly extinguished a fully involved car fire with reportedly no injuries.
The fire was put out using one engine and one ladder and a lot of team work.
The boys in red were able, through their quick actions, to prevent the fire from extending to any of the nearby structures. Sadly, the vehicle was completely totaled.
The cause of the fire still remains under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
