Saturday evening, around 22:30 hours, Boston Police Officers of District B-3 responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 628 W Park Street in Mattapan. Officers accompanied by a K-9 unit arrived on scene to discover no victims, as well as no suspect.
The ShotSpotter was activated by roughly 10 rounds fired, and before police had arrived the suspect fled the scene. District detectives have processed ballistic evidence and are further investigating the incident. So far no arrests have been made, and a description of the suspect is unknown at this time.
