On June 5, at approximately 00:40 hours, Boston Police Officers from District A-1 responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 178 Kneeland Street in Dowtown. The 911 caller reported hearing roughly 5 rounds fired. Officers arrived on scene to find no injuries or suspects in the area however they did find ballistic evidence.
The 911 call originally came in as a man with a gun, however after canvasing the area, Officers were infested that it may have actually been two suspects. During their search of the area, they located a single shell casing along with a discarded hat outside the South Street Diner.
Hours later, at roughly 03:00 hours, another 911 call for shots fired this time in the area of Pearl Street and High Street. Officers from District A-1 again responded to the call and when they arrived found no victim. On scene these Officers located casings in the street as well as a parked car hit with ballistic damage.
District A-1 Detectives responded to both scene to investigate the incidents. They could be seen cataloging, photographing and collecting evidence at the scenes. At this time further information has yet to be released and no arrests have been made public.
