District B-2 Arrested Edwin Fantauzzi on an Outstanding Rape Warrant

On May 18, 2022, Officers assigned to District B-2 arrested Edwin Fantauzzi on an outstanding warrant out of Boston Municipal Court for Rape, Assault with intent to Rape, and Assault and Battery.

Original Incident : At about 6:30 AM, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, officers from Area A-1 and members of the BPD Sexual Assault Unit responded to a report of a rape in the area of the Harrison Avenue, (Area A-1) Downtown Boston. EDWIN FANTAUZZI, 33, of Lawrence MA is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches, 185 pounds
