At approximately 12:35am on June 19th, District C-6 along with Troopers from the Mass State Police received a 911 call reporting a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Morrissey Blvd at Freeport Street. In addition to the Officers and Troopers, Boston EMS and Fire responded to the scene.

The crash took place in the intersection, involving a 2019 Toyota Rav4 and a 2021 Honda Accord in which were both left totaled. The operator of the Toyota was a 42-year-old female from Dorchester, and the passenger of the vehicle was a 44-year-old female. The two women were luckily transported by Boston EMTs to BMC with only minor injuries.

On the other hand, the operator of the Honda Accord has been identified as 25-year-old Julian Karian of Quincy. Karian managed to untangle himself from the wreckage and attempted to then flee on foot. This immediately backfired as the suspect was located and arrested just a few streets away from the incident by Troopers.

Karian has since been charged with leaving the scene of property damage, leaving the scene of personal injury, the failure to stop and ID himself after the crash, and an OUI-Liquor. As pictured, he is is seen in good condition sustaining no known injuries.
