Just after midnight on June 20th, a woman walked into the Boston Medical Center ER with stab wounds that she endured after an altercation in Blackstone Park on Washington Street in the South End. At this time the victim’s identity and her purpose for being in the park at such an hour is unknown.
The fact that she was capable enough to bring herself to receive medical attention is a good sign to her condition. Sources tell us her injuries are considered serious but non-life-threatening.
A Boston Police D-4 Unit was dispatched to the area of the park where the assault was committed. Officers searched for evidence in the park as well as surrounding streets however, no crime scene was located. At this time the incident remains an ongoing investigation, and no arrests have been made.
