Man Shot Multiple Times During Robbery in Grove Hall

Last night at around 23:00 hours following an incident that began on Washington Street in Blue Hill Ave an adult male was shot multiple times.

Officers from District B-2 responded to calls for a person shot on Shandon Street, where they located the victim suffering from serious but non life threatening injuries consistent with a shooting. The incident originally occurred in Washington Street and Blue Hill avenue.

The victim was transported by Boston EMS to Boston Medical Center where he is currently being treated for his injuries. The only suspect information that was provided is the shooter fled the area on a moped.

The original incident occurred when the suspect was involved in an armed robbery in the Washington Street area, where the victim was shot once in the back and once to the hand. According to BPD there is no record on what was stolen, and the victims identity has yet to be released as the investigation is ongoing.
