Officers Recover a Loaded Firearm after a Traffic Stop in Roxbury

At about 2:30 AM, on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury), made an on-site firearm arrest of Victoria Bangari, 21, of Dorchester, in the area of 16 Seaver Street

While on patrol, officers observed a motor vehicle with excessive tinted windows fail stop at the red light at Humboldt Avenue and Seaver Street.

Officers activated their emergency lights and sirens and conducted a traffic stop at 16 Seaver Street. As a result of the traffic stop, officers recovered a loaded firearm under the passenger seat. The firearm was determined to be a Taurus G2c 9mm firearm with twelve rounds in the magazine.

Victoria Bangari was placed under arrest and charged with; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
