Man Grazed by Gunfire in South End Cathedral Projects

At about 1:16 AM Boston Police officers from District D-4 responded to the area of 37 Monsignor Reynolds Way, across the street from the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, for reports of shots fired.

On arrival, officers located multiple spent shell casings as well as ballistic damage to a window in the housing project. An adult male gunshot victim was also located, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

At this time no arrests have been made and no further information is available. Detectives assigned to District D-4 (South End) are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and are urging anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact (617) 343-5619.
