Boston Area Mutual Aid to Somerville for 3-Alarm Fire Tuesday

Yesterday at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Somerville Fire Department received a call for a building fire at 30 Inner Belt Road in the town of Somerville. The fire eventually grew into a 3-Alarm with companies from Cambridge, Medford Arlington and even Boston responding to assist with the blaze.

The fire occurred in a large commercial linen cleaning facility, known as Angelica Healthcare Linen Service. The fire was eventually knocked down with out any extension to the near by structures.

The cause of the fire and whether it resulted in any injuries is currently unknown. At this time, no further information is available.
