Officers Arrest Three Suspects on Weapon and Drug Charges in Dorchester

At about 10:30 PM, on Saturday, July 2, 2022, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan), made an onsite drug and firearm arrest after a traffic stop in the area of Greenwood Street and Harvard Avenue in Dorchester.

While on patrol, officers observed a motor vehicle fail to stop for three separate stop signs.

Officers activated their lights and sirens to conduct a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, officers recovered a loaded Glock 21 .45 caliber firearm with one round in the chamber and twelve rounds in the magazine. A separate magazine was located with an additional twelve rounds of ammunition along with multiple bags of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Ramon Maddery-Cameron, 30, of Mattapan, was charged with; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Distribution of Class D, Drugs, and Possession of Class B, Drugs. Ramone Wilson, 28, of Dorchester, was charged with; Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Samuel Jean, 34, of Dorchester, was charged with; Distribution of Class D, Drugs. All three suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
