Sunday night, July 17 2022, at around 22:30 Boston Police Officers from District B-2 along with Boston EMS responded to the area of Seaver Street and Humboldt Ave in Roxbury.
When responders arrived, they found a male victim suffering from multiple gun shot wounds barely alive. Officers immediately assisted EMS in rendering aid to the victim.
Boston EMS paramedics and EMTs quickly responded to the scene and transported him to a local area trauma center where his injuries are considered serious and he is listed in critical condition. It is unknown at this time if he will survive.
Due to the serious nature of the injuries the supervisor on scene made full notifications. Homicide Detectives, Crime Scene Response Investigators and Command Staff members were all alerted and began responding to the scene.
Investigators quickly arrived on the scene was secured. Evidence markers could be seen where spent shell casings lay in the street as well as ballistic damage to a vehicle inside the scene.
At this time no arrests have been made and no further information is available.
