On Monday July 25th at approximately 1:15am, Boston Police Officers from District B-2, responded to the Sunoco gas station located at 895 Massachusetts Avenue on Meth Mile for a call regarding a stolen vehicle. Units from District C-6 also responded to the scene.
B-2 officers ran the plates of the vehicle, which were discover to be stolen. After a brief pursuit the driver was stopped behind the Sunoco located on Mass Ave. Officers questioned the driver about the vehicle, which he claimed to have belonged to a friend. The owners were then contacted to pick up the vehicle.
No arrests were made following this incident and the suspect was FIO’ed and released pending a further investigation.
