Double Shooting in Nubian Square Leaves 2 Hospitalized

On Sunday night, at 22:30 hours, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded to a call for shots fired on Washington Street in the area of Nubian Square in Roxbury.

When officers arrived on scene they located two victims, both males, both suffering from apparent gun shot wounds. Officers immediately rendered aid to the two men while requesting a push on EMS.

Paramedics and EMTs responded, finding both men to have serious wounds. EMS transported them to Boston Medical Center where they were further treated and expected to survive.

Once the police arrived they taped off multiple streets to investigate the area. A K-9 unit could be seen searching the area as well. District Detectives we’re called to the scene and could be seen processing it. They photographed and collected the blood, ballistic and other evidence.

At this time boston police have confirmed that no arrests have been made and they would not provide any further information on the suspect or possible motive.
