August 7th at approximately 00:25 hours, Boston Fire and EMS along with Police Officers from District E-18 responded to a Moving Vehicle Accident at 1800 block of Hyde Park Ave.

After hitting multiple cars on Hyde Park, the vehicle landed on its side trapping the driver inside. BFD where called on the scene to extricate her from the vehicle. As photographed she is seen covered in blood and in a frantic state yelling at both EMS and firefighters.

The woman was so combative that it got to the point that she had to be restrained to a stretcher, something that has become increasingly more difficult as EMTs have lost the ability to use handcuffs and other mechanical restraints. The woman was treated and then transported to a nearby hospital for further care. The woman’s injuries, although serious, are not considered life threading at this time.

Boston Police Officers are still investigating the circumstances and facts surrounding the incident. At this time no charges have been publicly announced and investigation remains ongoing. No further information has been provided.
