On August 15th at approximately 21:15 hours, Boston Police Homicide Unit Detectives along with Officers from the Crime Scene Response Unit, Distirct D-4, Special Operations and others all converged on a residence at 1820 Washington Street in the South End to execute a warrant in relation to an ongoing investigation.
It is unknown who or what they were looking for, but it is important to note that the Homicide Unit did play a part in this investigation. We did reach out to the Department as well as numerous sources but were unable to gather any further information on what caused this late night raid.
Boston EMS was called to standby however their services were luckily not needed. At this Boston Police would only confirm that an investigation is still ongoing, and no further information has been made available to the public. Additionally, no suspects were seen or confirmed to have been arrested at this time.
