On August 15th at approximately 18:30 hours, Boston Police Operations received a 911 call from Boston Medical Center that a gray Honda had just dropped off a female victim who had been stabbed. The initial caller did not know where the incident had occurred and how seriousness the nature of the injuries were. Officers and a supervisor from District D-4 immediately responded to the hospital.

When Officers arrived they located the vehicle and quickly secured it and the driver before they could flee the area and then proceeded into the hospital to check on the status of the victim. Officers confirmed that the victim had in fact been stabbed and that it had occurred somewhere in Roxbury. Officers and Detectives from District B-2 then responded to the hospital as well to continue the investigation. Additional Officers also responded to the area of Malcolm X Park where the incident was said to have occurred.

In the hospital the woman’s condition worsened and her injuries became critically life threatening. The victim had been stabbed once to the left breast and she was rushed to the OR. Due to the Seriousness of the victim’s injuries the decision was made to make full notifications. Detectives assigned to the Homicide Unit as well as investigators from the Crime Scene Response Unit, Command Staff and District Attorney’s Office were all notified and began to respond.

According to reports, the stabbing had occured in the area of Dale Street however Officers searched the area, but could not find any evidence connected to the crime. The vehicle used to transport the victim to Boston Medical Center was held and processed by Crime Scene.

At this time the victim’s identity has not been made public and her condition remains unknown. No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified by the Police Department.
