One Person Arrested after a Search Warrant Leads to the Recovery of Drugs

At about 9:30 AM, on Friday, July 22, 2022, officers assigned to the District B-3 Drug Control Unit (Mattapan) and the District E-18 Drug Control Unit (Hyde Park), executed a search warrant out of Dorchester District Court for Vincent Sumler at 90 Woodbole Avenue in Mattapan.

After an ongoing drug investigation including surveillance footage, officers arrested Vincent Sumler, 44, of Dorchester. As a result of the search warrant, officer recovered thirteen plastic bags of a white rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine, a plastic bag containing Gabapentin pills and $357.00 in USC.

Mr. Sumler will be Charged with Possession with intent to Distribute, Class B, Drugs. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
