On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at approximately 22:00 hours, Boston Police Officers assigned to District B-2 responded to a Shotspotter activation at 18 Estabrook Road in Roxbury.
Once at the scene, first responders began canvassing for victims, evidence, and witnesses. They found 8 spent casings, and it was also reported by witnesses that a car with ballistic damage was seen fleeing the area. Police also discovered a Croc shoe on the ground. The car, along with the vehicle operator, were later found. Both the driver and the car were released after police processed the vehicle.

Police are still investigating this incident and have made no arrests have been made at this time. Detectives from District B-2 are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Any individuals with information can contact District B-2 Detectives at 617-343-4470.
