On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at approximately 22:00 hours, Boston Firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire in the area of 180 Brighton Avenue in Allston. Upon arriving at the scene, it was quickly noted that the fire was engulfing three separate restaurants on the street. Reports say that the flames moved extremely fast and were consuming the buildings on all sides and through the roof.
Firefighters worked for hours to quell the flames and were spotted at the scene into the late hours of the night. They were taming the fire from the front and back of the buildings, and eventually, the flames were calmed.
The three restaurants involved unfortunately had some damage, but luckily no one was injured or caught in the blaze. The restaurants affected include I Yummy Noodle and Thai Place, and some smoke damage was found in neighboring businesses. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the Boston Fire Department is still investigating the incident.
