On Friday, September 23, 2022, at approximately 00:00 hours, Boston EMTs and Boston Police officers assigned to District B-2 responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 81 Weaver Way in Roxbury. Police also received a 911 call from the same scene reporting that a person had been sho
When first responders arrived, they immediately confirmed one male victim who was shot in the leg. His injuries were serious, but non-life threatening, and he was taken by EMS by ambulance to a local hospital to receive treatment. It was reported that he was alert and stable during transport.
Police also found 3 shell casings at the scene while they were canvassing for evidence. They were seen working into the late hours of the night confirming the details of the incident. The male victim is currently resting in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. There have been no arrests and there are currently no persons of interest.
