On Saturday, September 24, 2022, at approximately 23:30 hours, Boston EMTs and Boston Police officers assigned to District B-2 responded to a 911 call reporting that a male had been injured near the Dudley MBTA bus station. Initial reports say that he was struck by a motor vehicle.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders immediately began canvassing for evidence, witnesses, and victims involved. They confirmed there was one male victim who sustained serious injuries but were non-life threatening. Due to the severity of his injuries, push EMS was requested to quickly transport him to a local area hospital. He is currently stable and expected to survive.
According to witnesses, the man had been jumped by several males and there was no vehicle involved. The police began scanning the area for signs of suspects fleeing, but could not identify any persons of interest.
