On Saturday, October 22, 2022, at approximately 04:00 hours, Boston EMTs, Milton Police officers, Boston Police officers assigned to District E-18, and the K-9 Unit responded to a 911 call reporting that a person had been shot on Dana Avenue in Hyde Park. Police believe it was a drive-by shooting.
Upon arrival, EMTs located the female victim who was located at the projects near Dana Avenue. Her injuries were non-life-threatening, and she was alert and conscious as she was loaded into an ambulance to be treated at a local hospital. She is stable and expected to recover.
Later on, Milton Police officers located a vehicle on Brush Hill Road that was sitting in reverse. Responders believe that the vehicle could have been involved in the shooting, but no other evidence was found on the scene. Boston Detectives photographed the vehicle and left the scene. No arrests have been made.
