Victim Found in Burger King Bathroom after being Struck by Car on COlumbia Road

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, at approximately 22:20 hours, Boston EMS, Boston Fire, and Boston Police from District B-2 responded to a 911 call reporting that a pedestrian was struck near Columbia and Washington Street.

Upon arrival, first responders noted that the victim was no longer at the scene of the crash. Firefighters began to search for her, eventually finding her in a nearby Burger King in the bathroom. It is assumed that she walked to this location on her own. The firefighters and officers reported that her injuries seemed serious and requested a push on EMS.

Boston EMTs and Paramedics quickly arrived and began treating and stabilizing the victim. After some time, she was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Her current condition is unknown but EMS sources say she is expected to recover.

The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene during the investigation and cooperated with Police during questioning. According to law enforcement sources, the driver appeared alert and aware and it did not seem like he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The accident is still being actively reviewed by investigators, but sources tell us no charges are expected to be brought against the driver at this time.
