Another Person Stabbed on Meth Mile, This Time Inside of the Southampton Street Shelter

On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at approximately 23:00 hours, Boston EMTs and Boston Police officers responded to reports that a man was stabbed inside a homeless shelter on Meth Mile.

Police immediately responded to the shelter. Initial reports state that a man was refusing to leave the premises. It is unknown if this man was the perpetrator, but he is described as a black male wearing a dark jacket and grey pants, and was carrying a large grey backpack. Reports say he was being aggressive at the time of the 911 call.

Police worked to clear the shelter. There was one victim who had apparent stab wounds, but the severity is unknown. The possible perpetrator was removed from the shelter and the victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital. There is no other information at this time.
